Fuel Additives
Swift Current Diesel strongly recommends using a high quality diesel fuel additive. Good additives have proven to protect your engine and your fuel system.
Stanadyne Performance Formula and 4Plus Premium fuel additives contain cetane improvers for increased mileage, horsepower and better starting, detergents to protect fuel injection systems, and lubricity additive for low and ultra low sulphur diesel fuel. They also contain antioxidants to help keep fuel fresher and demulsifiers to help separate out water, making filters and water separation systems more effective.
These additives do not contain harmful alcohol, avoiding corrosion.
Cold weather products such as Polar Max, Stanadyne Winter 1000 and 4Plus Arctic provide all of the benefits of the Stanadyne Performance Formula and 4Plus Premium additives along with powerful antigel agents to prevent cold weather gelling. Diesel Melt is a fantastic product for emergency fast acting antigel. Particularly good when caught with summer fuel in cold weather.
